Innovations Design Challenge
Before half term Paul Cookson, performance poet came into Rushcliffe and the Innovations Faculty worked with him to create two design challenges using his work as inspiration. A well designed book cover can make a book leap off the shelf, hook you in and make you want to read on. A creative and imaginative illustration can really bring a character to life. We wanted to see how well Rushcliffe students could respond to these exciting design briefs.
The quality of the work was impressive and as you can imagine it took a lot of time and debate choosing a shortlist to send to Paul for final judging. He thought all of the entries were amazing.
Congratulations to Y7 for taking part and ‘shining brightly’. The winners and runners up will be going on display in the LRC shortly.
