The school kitchens are operated by the Spencer Academies Trust catering team. The kitchen manager is Vicky Naylor.
Around the school site, we have a range of food service points open at break and lunch time. At lunchtime, pupils have a broad choice of options including the hot meal of the day, sandwiches, salads, jacket potatoes and a range of ‘grab and go’ choices.

The catering team tries to ensure that the vast majority of items are prepared freshly on site. The school is committed to adhering to healthy schools guidelines. The kitchen will also ensure they cater for specific dietary requirements and the kitchen manager is happy to discuss those with parents/carers. At Rushcliffe School, we use a cashless catering system to help speed up the service and remove cash handling. This system uses a biometric system to recognise customers, allowing users to add cash to the system using the revaluer machines on site or via the ScoPay online system.
