Applications for New Year 7 Places
Parents/carers of children in year 6 will receive a letter from the Local Authority inviting them to apply for a place at their preferred secondary school in early September. Applications for new year 7 places must be made to Nottinghamshire County Council. Information on the Nottinghamshire County Council’s Coordinated Admissions Scheme is available here.
We are heavily oversubscribed in all year groups but you are still welcome to apply for a place at the school. For in-year transfers, please contact the school admissions team via telephone (0115 9744050) or email.

Appeals are managed by an independent appeals clerk and heard by an independent panel.
The appeals timeline for all unsuccessful on time applications for year 7 places in September 2021 is as follows:

We do keep a waiting list and unsuccessful applicants will automatically be placed on this waiting list. The list is ordered according to the over subscription criteria set out in our admissions policy – not by date of application.
